Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions? We’re here to help.

Taking the first steps to understand your ADHD can feel overwhelming, but our team is ready to guide you with clarity and support.

Yes. If you’re diagnosed with ADHD, our clinical team can start treatment once we’ve received your blood pressure reading and GP summary.
You’ll then have monthly review appointments to fine-tune your treatment.
Most people begin their treatment within a few days of receiving their diagnosis.

Our reports follow NICE guidelines and are routinely accepted by GPs for shared-care prescribing.
Once your medication dose is stable (usually after three months), we’ll prepare the paperwork and liaise with your GP directly.
If your GP doesn’t offer shared care, we can continue treatment privately — so your treatment won’t be interrupted.

You’ll meet one of our experienced clinicians, either a clinical or counselling psychologist, all registered with UK professional bodies and trained in adult ADHD diagnosis.
Many of our team also have lived experience of ADHD themselves, which helps make the sessions relaxed and relatable.

That’s okay, the assessment is designed to give you clarity, whatever the outcome.
If ADHD isn’t diagnosed, your clinician will explain why and suggest alternative routes for support or further assessment.
You’ll still leave with clear next steps and a better understanding of what’s been going on.

Most clients are seen within a week of booking.
From assessment to starting treatment typically takes around two weeks, and the full shared-care process is usually complete within three months.
We’ll keep you updated at every stage so you always know what’s next.

NOT SURE IF YOU NEED AN ASSESSMENT?

You don’t need to have all the answers to take the first step.

A short, private screening helps you explore whether ADHD, autism, or both might be affecting your life, and whether an assessment is right for you.
