Registered, and easy to check
Our psychologists are on the HCPC register, except our assistant psychologist, who is a BPS member. Our psychiatrist is on the GMC register, our nurses on the NMC register and our pharmacist on the GPhC register. Our coach holds BACP and EMCC memberships, shown on her card. Each register is public, so you can check any entry yourself from the links below.
Who you will see
- Your assessmentA psychologist or specialist clinician carries out your ADHD or autism assessment, using recognised diagnostic tools. You can read how each route works on our ADHD assessment, autism assessment and combined AuDHD assessment pages.
- Your outcome and reportWe talk you through what we found, and your full written report follows, ready to share with your GP, school or employer. AuDHD Psychiatry sends an outcome letter the next day, and the full report within two weeks.
- Your treatmentIf medication could help, our psychiatrist, nurse prescribers and senior clinical pharmacist start and manage it. Later, your GP can take over the routine prescribing under shared care, and your GP decides whether to do that. Our page on how ADHD medication is prescribed explains each step.
Questions people ask
Can I see a private psychiatrist at AuDHD Psychiatry?
Yes. AuDHD Psychiatry has a consultant psychiatrist, Dr Daniela Maria Tomus, who sees patients online. Her work with us covers ADHD and autism, including medication. Most assessments are carried out by our psychologists and specialist nurses. Prescribing is shared between Dr Tomus, our nurse prescribers and a senior clinical pharmacist.
Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can book with AuDHD Psychiatry without a GP referral. Your GP only comes into it later, if you ask them about shared care for ADHD medication, and that is their choice. Our free 15-minute call is an information call, and you don’t need a referral for that either.
Does your psychiatrist see children?
Yes. Dr Tomus sees children and young people as well as adults. She is on the GMC Specialist Register in child and adolescent psychiatry [1]. Child ADHD medication is managed with our nurse prescribers, including one who works only with children and young people. A parent can be present during their child’s assessment. Our child ADHD assessment page sets out how an assessment for your child works.
How can I check a clinician's registration?
The register for each registered clinician is named on their card, and you can search it by name or number. Psychologists are on the HCPC register and doctors on the GMC register [2][3]. Nurses are on the NMC register and pharmacists on the GPhC register [4][5]. Each of the four is a professional regulator, and each search is free.

Not sure who you need?
A free 15-minute call with AuDHD Psychiatry is an information call, not an assessment. We talk through what you’re looking for and help you choose the right route.
