Screening call frequently asked questions

It is normal to have questions before you book.

Taking the first steps to understand your symptoms can feel overwhelming, but our team is ready to guide you with clarity and support.

Once your GP summary and blood pressure readings are submitted, we schedule your Initial Medication Appointment. Most patients start medication within 1 to 2 weeks after their assessment.

To make sure medication is safe for you. ADHD meds affect heart rate and blood pressure, so we need accurate readings and a brief medical history before prescribing anything.

It’s a 45 to 60 minute session where your clinician reviews your symptoms, lifestyle, medical history, and treatment goals.
If medication is suitable, you get your first prescription at the end of the appointment.

Most people need around 3 to 4 follow up appointments spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart. Some need fewer, some need more. The goal is a stable dose that works without problematic side effects.

Private prescriptions are:
£45 using our online pharmacy service
£55 if we send you the prescription directly
Medication itself usually costs £50 to £120 per month and is paid to the pharmacy.
