For children, the ADHD assessment is £995, autism £1,795 and the combined assessment £2,295. Each price includes the diagnostic interviews, your full written report and a request for GP shared care. AuDHD Psychiatry also lists fees for existing patients, including £195 follow-up consultations and £58 repeat prescriptions. You can pay in full or in 3 interest-free instalments with Klarna.

Do I need a GP referral to book?
No. You can book any of our assessments directly, with no GP referral needed.
How quickly can I be seen?
We have appointments available each week and you can choose a time that suits you.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. You can spread the cost with Klarna over 3 interest-free instalments, with no impact on your credit.
Why do child assessments cost more than adult ones?
A child assessment gathers more information: from you, from school, and about your child’s early development. That means more clinician time to bring it all together, and that extra depth is reflected in the price.
Is a combined ADHD and autism assessment worth it?
If you recognise traits of both, a combined assessment looks at them together in one pathway, so you get the full picture rather than two separate answers. Many people find that clarity worth it. If you’re not sure, a consultation call can help you decide before you commit.
Can I use private health insurance?
Yes. We accept Bupa-funded assessments for both ADHD and autism. Other private health insurance may also cover an assessment. Your insurer decides what your policy covers, so check with them before you book. Get in touch and we’ll talk you through it.
What exactly is included in the price?
Each price includes everything shown in the plan card above — the diagnostic interview(s), your full written report, and a request to your GP for shared care (not guaranteed). There are no separate consultation or report fees on top.
What happens if I don’t receive a diagnosis?
Not everyone we assess meets the criteria for a diagnosis, and that’s still a useful, valid outcome. We’ll explain clearly what we found and what it means — this isn’t a pass/fail test, and you’ll still have the clarity of a proper assessment either way.
Are there any extra costs after the assessment?
Your plan covers the assessment, your report, and a request to your GP for shared care (not guaranteed). If any further ongoing treatment has its own cost, we’ll always tell you upfront before you commit to anything further.
Is shared care with my GP guaranteed?
No. Shared care depends on your GP agreeing to take over prescribing once your dose is stable, and some GPs and areas don’t offer it. We’ll share your report and treatment plan and ask your GP, but the decision is theirs. If your GP says no, you can carry on with private prescribing through us, and we’ll tell you the costs upfront.
What’s your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
Life happens — if you need to reschedule, just let us know with as much notice as you can and we’ll find you another slot. Get in touch directly if your circumstances change and we’ll talk through the options with you.
How does the Klarna payment plan work?
Klarna splits your payment into interest-free instalments over three months. It uses a soft credit check, which doesn’t affect your credit score, and it’s available to UK residents aged 18 and over. Full terms are shown at checkout.
Is the combined assessment cheaper than booking both separately?
